Located just off the Ikom –Calabar High way at the Eight Miles Junction, Tinapa Lakeside Hotel is a mere Three Kilometers from that point as you cruise along the scenic four lane Tinapa-Adiabo way. You cannot miss its breath-taking entrance.
Lying beside the Calabar River, Lakeside Hotel can also be accessed by boat from the waters into the Man-made Tinapa Lake. At the moment, a small fleet of boats provide shuttle services for visitors to and from the near by Marina Resort. This trip on the Calabar river takes about twenty minutes.
Furthermore, two of Nigeria’s foremost commercial airlines currently fly in and out Calabar from Lagos and Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria. These are Aero Contractors, and Arik Airlines. On arrival at the Margaret Ekpo International Airport, Calabar, a variety of commercial vehicles will be available to take you to Tinapa at mutually agreed rates. The Tinapa Lakeside Hotel also provides shuttle busses that pick- up and drop-off guests of the Hotel for a minimal fee. On the whole, the journey from the airport to Tinapa is about twenty minutes on the average.
In addition to these, visitors who wish to fly into Tinapa using Helicopters can do so after seeking and receiving clearance from the Zone Management for this purpose.
